Last week at Panda Designs, the air was filled with drops of glistening sun-filled kisses as Jessica and I announced our website, online store, and blog. You responded with great surprise, support, joy, and enthusiasm. With our whole hearts, we thank you for allowing us to share Panda Designs with you. If gratitude were a liquid substance, then floating in the Pacific Ocean would have been our landing spot last week. We are humbled. Thank you for purchasing our product and sharing our site with so many others. Your excitement is contagious!
It is our pleasure to continue to find a space among all the commotion of life and imagine how our bookmarks can make a difference in the world. On the most beautiful days, paper is touched, chosen, and cut as an expression of transferring a thought. Beads are selected and strung as they happily leap onto our sturdy 2x6 bookmark and bring the paper to life. We bag them, insert an enclosure, and then hope that you will find just the right words to lift a human soul as you pass it along as a gift.
Finally, so many of you have asked how we came up with the idea of making bookmarks? The truth is we never intended to design or produce a bookmark? As I was passing through a very difficult time in my life, after the birth of my third child, I found some masking paper left in my house from a paint job...
